• Christoph Theiler: Plantage.. Interaktive Klanginstallation (2026 UA)

Plants bring with them their own sense of time, their own logic of response and their own form of presence. As biological sensors, they directly influence the sonic structure. Their reactions to touch feed into the acoustic fabric and continuously alter it. The result is an installation that grows, branches out and constantly reshapes itself. Technology and plants create an ecological system that eludes complete control. Conditions can be set, but the outcomes remain open-ended. The behaviour of the installation depends on its surroundings: on the people in the room, on the condition of the plants. Sound becomes an indicator of a network that is constantly reconfiguring itself. (Christoph Theiler)
