Studio Dan brings two fascinating personalities to the stage: sound artist Isabella Forciniti and trombonist Matthias Muche. Together, they traverse the dynamics of diverse artistic practices, social systems and musical concepts. The archaic power of the trombone meets the computer; solo meets ensemble; delicate nuances and loud bass sounds … At the centre stands a musical experiment exploring togetherness: how does the ensemble – a ‘biotope’ grown organically and finely balanced over the years – react to impulsive interventions from the outside? And conversely: what power do the disruptors draw from the collective?
