The origins of the project Un Monde Peuplé (A Populated World) lie in the history of the Zacherlfabrik building, which tells a story of the relationship between insects and humans. While in the 19th century the factory produced a powder made from pyrethrum flowers, which was used for biological pest control, today it is home to bees that produce honey from the nectar of garden flowers. Insects are all around us and often invisible. In Un Monde Peuplé, we experience this sensation of being surrounded by countless living creatures, and the Zacherlfabrik appears to be inhabited by a population of imaginary insects.

Promenade concert with seating available. Warm clothing is required.
