Olga Neuwirth is one of the most significant composers of this time – yet she is hardly known as a filmmaker, video and installation artist (having participated in documenta 12). Since her training in film, painting and composition in San Francisco, she has engaged intensively with the moving image; sound and image are inextricably intertwined in her work.
