It’s impossible to rule out that this could be a legendary evening: The Ottakringer Brewery takes on the role of the Vienna City Hall. At least as far as the official presentation of the Ernst Krenek Music Prize of the City of Vienna to Angélica Castelló (photo) is concerned. The first ever relocation of this joyous occasion to Ottakring brings more dancefloor. And the dancefloor is utilised extensively in the first of our two Party Modern nights. After a warm-up by Nicolussi and electroacoustic glow-worms by the prize winner, Gischt a.k.a. Ursula Winterauer plays a new live set. drank_, the hypnotic project by Ingrid Schmoliner and Alex Kranabetter, plays the debut album live for the first time with Katharina Ernst and Anja F. Plaschg (Soap & Skin). The reunion of the legendary band broken • heart • collector  (Maja Osojnik, Susanna Gartmayer, Manfred Engelmayr, Roland Rathmayr & Didi Kern) is bringing new songs alongside old hits. After a bonus track which is currently still a secret, Ada, producer, DJ and label mate of DJ Koze (Pampa Records), will provide the final workout.
