The South Korean all-star ensemble WhatWhy Art make their Austrian debut and, together with the artist Hyunju Oh and the composer Sebastian Claren, who lives in Seoul and Berlin, takes a long look at the language of the sound and form of the centuries-old music tradition Gagok – a breathtaking encounter with the delicacy, roughness and expressiveness of the human voice. Prior to the performance, the ensemble WhatWhy Art invites audiences to explore traditional instruments and playing techniques on 20 November at 6:00 pm at the Korean Cultural Center.
