Two works by the Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho, who died in 2023, some Icelandic serenity courtesy of Anna Thorvaldsdottir, a surreal Ukrainian sound painting by Dmytro Kyryliv, and two world premieres by young composers from Austria – six percussionists and various chamber music ensembles from the MUK look to the past and to the future.
