Cast

Since the first electronic sounds came out of loudspeakers, two things have been clear: a new field of research has emerged that searches for the nature of these previously unheard-of sound entities. And these new sounds find their associative world in images of the future, in science fiction, then as now. [...] There could be no better performance venue in Vienna than the domed hall of the Natural History Museum to unite all these aspects of research, science fiction and nature. The hall will be equipped with the numerous loudspeakers of the Vienna Acousmonium. Here, inspired by circles of thought around a centerpiece of the collection, the meteorite Tissint, the sound projection turns into a new experience. (Thomas Gorbach)
