Philipp Forthuber

Philipp Forthuber makes his living with a mix of his own musical work and the organization of cultural projects in Graz and Vienna. Contemporary music and dance are part of his fields of activity, alongside theater productions, film and music festivals. He has come to appreciate the often months-long collaboration with artists, technicians, and (sound) directors, as well as the energy when witnessing several thousand visitors at Vienna's Karlsplatz. 

As a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Forthuber also ventures to the other side and explores the dark corners of sound. Since 2023, Philipp Forthuber has been running a recording studio in the shadow of the Riesenrad.
