Patricia Pirker

Artistic Administration and Guest Relations 

Patricia Pirker, born in 1988, came to Vienna in 2006 to study law and quickly fell under the spell of this city of theatre magic. Following her passion for language and the stage, she enrolled in the Theatre, Film and Media Studies programme alongside her law studies. In 2011, she graduated in law and began her mandatory court year at the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Vienna Regional Court. After that year, in 2012, she brought her passion directly to the Burgtheater, where she worked in the Artistic Operations Office and Artistic Directorate under the direction of Matthias Hartmann; under the direction of Karin Bergmann she organised the Burgtheater's guest performances and toured with the ensemble. At the end of Bergmann's directorship, after 7 years of theatre hustle and bustle and enriched with many experiences, Patricia took time to travel and explored Portugal, Mexico, Australia, Indonesia and Sri Lanka in a trip around the world, returning to Vienna in 2020. Since September 2020 Patricia is part of the Wien Modern team and takes care of guest management and special ticketing.
