Mehri Chegini

Project assistant “Multiplicity Pilot”

Mehri Chegini was born in 1982 in Tehran. She completed her Master’s degree in Technology Management at Allameh Tabataba'i University in Tehran. After graduating, she worked for around 15 years in Iran in professional and research-related fields, further developing her knowledge in quantitative and qualitative methods, working with data, and the analysis of social issues.

Since 2020, she has been living in Austria and is currently working on her Master’s thesis in the Master’s programme in International Development at the University of Vienna. Her focus areas include critical education, migration, anti-racism, and intersectionality, with a particular interest in social science research and working with data for a better analysis of societal contexts.

Since April 2026, she has been part of the Wien Modern team and works as a project assistant in the “Multiplicity Pilot” project in the field of anti-discrimination and equality data.
