Kira David

Production Manager

Kira David was born in 1988 and grew up in Vienna. During her (unfinished) studies in theatre, film and media, she began working in programme planning for 3sat. She then moved to the film sector, mainly working in production as well as, later on, in casting with Lisa Oláh. Kira began studying philosophy in the 2010s and meanwhile helped to process the Otto M. Zykan archive with Irene Suchy as well as edit the two volumes Zykan Staat Kunst and Zykan Weise Poesie. Coming back to Vienna after a year-long trip, she started working as assistant to the management of the art fair viennacontemporary and moved from there to her passion project, music, to the Wiener Konzerthaus and finally to Wien Modern in 2020. Alongside working at Wien Modern, Kira is currently writing her master's thesis on gesture in the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein.
