This time around, pupils from music schools of the City of Vienna play the Matinée Petite within the context of exhibition Nie endgültig! Das Museum im Wandel [Never final! The museum in transition]. "Never final" – this formula coined by Hertha Firnberg, Austria's first female Minister of Science, to this day defines mumok as a dynamic place of change. This idea is brought to life in the exhibition through an open format; interactive furniture and spaces of dialogue that stage the museum as a platform for collective research, learning and questioning.
