John Zorn's Cobra was created in 1984 and is a legendary Game Piece: a system of detailed rules without a fixed sequence. Cards with cue words control the musicians' reactions, a prompter steers the action. The cast, duration and progression are open. All this with music by Peter Brötzmann, Mica Levi and Christof Ressi.
