Five outstanding musicians from Ensemble PHACE invite you to a virtuoso summit of the subtle kind: the first complete performance of Wolfram Schurig's Capricci can be experienced at Wien Modern 2025. Composed from 2016 to 2022, this triptych of three duos of the highest level of difficulty was dedicated by Schurig to the drawer Egon Goldner, born in Lustenau in 1945, the Italian writer Giorgio Manganelli and the German painter Gerhard Richter – specifically to his famous paintings which expand photographic images through irritations like smearing or blurring
