Hans G. Helms’s Fa:m’ Ahniesgwow is at once linguistic music and acoustic experiment. In his works, he deconstructs words, phrases, language of everyday and propaganda in order to reveal their hidden structures of power. Sounds and syllables are fragmented, layered and reassembled – right down to the title itself. With this, texts by Astrid Nischkauer and Margret Kreidl will be brought to sound in world premieres.
