Vienna is characterised by great linguistic diversity: The city speaks Farsi, Pashto, Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian, Turkish, Arabic and many more. This is enriched by the diversity of expression in (social) media and a young generation that speaks in images, signs and gestures. Wien Modern, the Ensemble REIHE Zykan+ , MuTh and the ACOM – Austrian Composers Association issued a call for scores for works on the theme of "Diversity of language(s) in Vienna". The four selected works, as well as music by Michael Mautner and Otto M. Zykan, will be premiered on this evening at MuTh
