To mark the 50th anniversary of the ensemble, Wien Modern and the oenm are presenting the co-production Archipel Life, an expansive new spatial composition by Clemens Gadenstätter, which can be experienced in Salzburg and Vienna in autumn 2025. Gadenstätter is a master of playing with the perceptions, the associations, the memories and the meanings of sounds. In this big new production, he distributes the Salzburg ensemble across nine islands in the space.
