In 2016, the Viennese trio Blueblut composed a new live soundtrack to John Ford's classic silent western Three Bad Men. With imagination, humour, surprising sounds and a lot of enthusiasm, they bring into the present the story of the battle between good and evil in a wild, rough and nuanced society. Despite the great success of the Luxembourg premiere, it actually took until 2025 for a second performance, which can now finally be experienced in the illustrious underground trio's chosen home, and more specifically – if we're doing it, we’re doing it properly  – at the Gartenbaukino. This year, for the first time, Erste Bank is bringing together the Viennale and Wien Modern at its annual film matinee.
