«Breath-catching commitment» (Musical America), «a solo revelation» (Concerto.net), «one of the most sensitive and electric interpreters of new music» (Downbeat), «the warmth and humanity she brings to the music» (Cultured Cleveland), «her tonal luster and variety of touch enliven everything she plays» (New York Times) – The young American violinist Miranda Cuckson is causing a stir. She presents her solo programme for Wien Modern in two versions. This increases seat capacity in the Alte Schmiede, but for those who are interested, also offers the possibility to hear three encores, and a repetition with some nuance of the magnificent violin music for the desert island by Georg Friedrich Haas.
